LFA Antennas.
The Loop Fed Array — G0KSC's closed-loop driven element delivers a direct 50 Ω feed, nothing to tune, and the quietest receive in its class.
Instead of a conventional split dipole, the LFA's driven element is a closed rectangular loop lying in the plane of the boom, presenting 50 Ω directly at the feedpoint. There is no gamma match, no hairpin, no folded-dipole transformer — nothing to adjust in the air, nothing to burn out at full legal power, and nothing to drift out of tune when the weather arrives.
The closed loop is also inherently quiet. An LFA rejects off-axis and locally generated noise that conventionally fed Yagis pass straight to the receiver, and it holds its front-to-back ratio across a wide bandwidth rather than at a single spot frequency. The difference is most audible exactly where it counts: weak-signal work on 6m, 2m and above, where openings live and die in the noise floor.
The LFA is the design InnovAntennas was founded on. The family spans the entire range, from HF monobanders through the 6m antennas that made the architecture's name to the long-boom VHF and UHF arrays working EME in serious stations worldwide.
