50MHz 7-Element LFA-HD Low Noise High Performance Yagi.

50MHz 7-Element LFA-HD Low Noise Yagi offers amazing performance for its price for the critical 50.0 – 50.4 MHz weak signal section of the 6m band. This Loop Fed Array Yagi is a full size beam with its long 29.2 ft. boom, and it offers the owner great forward gain of 12.8dB and an incredible front-to-back specification of 43.3dB! All G0KSC LFA Yagis are a major step forward in the development of the Yagi Antenna, providing an ultra-low noise "front-end" for any advanced 50 MHz radio. This rugged 7 element LFA-2 second generation beam features a direct-feed 50-ohm feedpoint, no matching losses and excellent rejection of unwanted signals and noise. It's well suppressed side lobes in both H and E planes make this model ideal for very noisy city locations.

About this antenna

InnovAntenna 50MHz 7-Element LFA-HD Low Noise Yagi offers amazing performance for its price for the critical 50.0 – 50.4 MHz weak signal section of the 6m band.. The InnovAntennas 7-element LFA-HD Heavy Duty Yagi antenna is truly made to survive harsh weather conditions, with an oversized square aluminum tubing boom that is 2 in. (50mm) at the center, tapering to 1.77 in. (45mm) and 1.58 in. (40mm) at the ends, with each section 0.078 in. (2mm) wall thickness. Tapered elements consist of oversized 0.63 inch (16mm) element centers and 0.51-inch (13mm) element end sections, both with 0.078 in. (2mm) wall thickness, the same as the boom. Fully insulated elements ensures continuous, high performance in all weather conditions for many years to come. The boom-to-mast bracket accommodates up to a 2-inch (50mm) mast and a Kevlar single-line truss support system is provided with this horizontal polarized 7-element LFA-HD Yagi antenna. A capable and accurate tower-mounted rotator is required.

Also used in production of InnovAntenna LFA Yagis:

  • Marine Grade Stainless Steel Fittings

  • Original Stauff Insulation clamps

  • Mill finished boom and elements for highest levels of accuracy

InnovAntennas are constructed with the best quality materials in order to achieve the best possible mechanical construction, not the cheapest or most profitable. A digital caliper is used to measure the elements during production to ensure parts or within 0.2mm tolerance, ensuring each antenna works as well as the design software model predicts.

A great deal of development time was put into InnovAntenna Yagis, but not only on the advanced electromagnetic design. Extensively modeling on the effect of insulators, booms and other parts ensures that every component of InnovAntenna Yagi has the least effect on performance and pattern degradation.

For the 6-meter enthusiast who wants to beat the noise, enjoy great gain and incredible front-to-back performance, and all for a great price, THIS 7-element LFA-HD is one of the most exciting 50MHz Yagis on the market!
