Antennas // 30m Band
30m Antennas.
A 50 kHz sliver at 10.1 MHz, CW and digital only — 30m rewards clean, quiet gain more than any other WARC band.
The 30m band occupies a narrow 50 kHz allocation at 10.1 MHz, contest-free by international agreement and restricted to CW and digital modes. It has a character all of its own: open to somewhere almost around the clock, blending the night-time reliability of 40m with the daytime reach of 20m. CW operators and FT8 DXers prize it precisely because it is never crowded and never hyped — just consistently productive.
Because the allocation is so narrow, a 30m Yagi does not have to trade performance for bandwidth. Our designs are optimised hard across those 50 kHz — gain, front-to-back and pattern cleanliness all held at their best where the activity actually is, with the LFA's direct 50 Ω feed adding nothing lossy between the coax and the element.
